Become a Q Care Partner
Becoming an Oregon Q Care Preferred Partner shows your strong commitment to customer service and to getting the word out to your fellow industry businesses in your city, region and all over the state of Oregon.
There are two types of partnerships available: Silver Star of Service Partner and Oregon Q Care Preferred Partner
Silver Star of Service Partner
A visitor industry business that has over 75% of their staff Oregon Q Care Certified with the online Oregon Q Care customer service training program.
How to Get Started:
- E-mail Carole@TravelOregon.com or MichelleW@TravelOregon.com and let them know you are interested in becoming a Silver Star of Service Partner
- You will then receive a short quetionnaire to fill out and return to Travel Oregon
- Once 75% of your staff is Oregon Q Care certified you will get the following benefits (listed below)
Benefits:
- Oregon Q Care pins for your certified staff (sent all at once when you have reached 75%)
- Recognition for your business in future Travel Oregon publications that go to potential visitors
- Recognition as a tourism and hospitality industry customer service leader on www.OregonQCare.com
- Eligible to nominate employees from your own businesses or from other Oregon Q Care partner businesses for an Oregon Q Care Award at the Oregon Governor's Conference on Tourism
- Your business will be eligible to be nominated for a special award presented by Travel Oregon at the Oregon Governor's Conference on Tourism
Requirements:
- Register with Travel Oregon as a Silver Star of Service Partner candidate (see How to Get Started above)
- Notification from you, including a list of employee names, once 75% of your staff has become Oregon Q Care certified
- Verification from Travel Oregon that employees you have submitted as certified are in fact Oregon Q Care certified
- Oregon Q Care customer service training/Silver Star of Service Partner mention and/or links on your website and in your marketing materials as appropriate
Oregon Q Care Preferred Partner
An organization that is actively marketing the Oregon Q Care customer service training program to its members and industry as a whole.
Requirements:
- Add Q website and icon to home page and website
- Promote Oregon Q Care at a minimum of one industry meeting a year (Chamber of Commerce meeting, annual conference, etc.) or showcase Oregon Q Care in an article or other form of publication/industry magazine, etc.
- Distribute a minimum of one press release annually to local/regional media promoting the Oregon Q Care customer service training program with local/regional examples
Optional Requirements (encouraged but not required):
- Encourage local/regional/community recognition for the Oregon Q Care customer service training program
